All Things Clearwater!

Clearwater is such a beautiful spot, especially if you are coming to Florida on vacation and are not a local. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, there is so much to do and you are near two big cities that have great night life.

Where to stay?

As you drive through Clearwater you will notice tons of hotels that are available, but the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key (@clearwaterbeachmarriott) is where it is at! This hotel offers everything you could need and the service is impeccable.

It backs right up to the water with a tiki bar, huge pool and hot tub. We got the pleasure of lounging in one of the pool cabanas that offers a flat screen TV, mini fridge, full table and two cabana chairs. Again, the service was great! They checked on us a perfect amount and ensured we were happy.

Where to eat?

If you are staying at the Clearwater Marriott, which you should, they offer three signature restaurants. The Watercolour Grillhouse and Lounge is known for their seafood and prime meat. The Kokomos Bar & Grille is known for American grilled cuisine. And the Pizza Hut Express (how cool?!) serves pizza anywhere you want pool or room! You really can't go wrong with any of these choices!

If you are looking to get dinner out on the town, I highly suggest Taco Bus (@tacobusclearwaterbeach)! This place is so amazing! Everything from the tacos to the nachos to the frozen margs and churros, just wow!

Another amazing place we had the opportunity to eat at is Frenchy's Rockaway Grill (@frenchysrockaway) and it did not disappoint! It sits right on the beach and the seafood is so fresh, highly highly recommend.

What to do?

One of the best things about Clearwater is the location; the hotel actually offers a shuttle throughout the day that brings you downtown. Everything is a short drive from the Clearwater Marriott hotel, including my favorite, the Clearwater Aquarium (@cmaquarium)! The coolest thing about this Aquarium is it is a full rehabilitation center for sea life and all of the proceeds, including ticket sales, go back to helping that. Another fun fact is that it is the home to Winter! Winter is the famous dolphin from the movie Dolphin Tail. and her rehab pool that she was filmed in is at this Aquarium as well.

If you are looking for night life, Tampa and St Pete are just a short drive away.
