What a blast! From Anaheim to West Hollywood we had the absolute best time. In this post I am going to share all of the must stays, food and drinks you need to experience on your next trip to Cali!
Where to stay.
As avid Disney fans we of course had to make a stop in Anaheim. We had the pleasure of staying at the Howard Johnson (@hojoanaheim), which was only an 8 minute walk to Disneyland and California Adventure! The Hojo offers immense amenities including a relaxing pool area and a water park, Castaway Cove. This is the best hotel for a family vacation or staycation if you live in the area. The staff was nothing but kind and respectful, I absolutely would stay here again! As for West Hollywood, we stayed at the beautiful Montrose at Beverly Hills (@montrosebeverlyhills). This luxurious boutique hotel sits in walking distance of Sunset Blvd and all of the hot spots of West Hollywood. It offers a gorgeous rooftop pool and bar, Tonic, as well as a wine hour for hotel guests everyday from 5-6pm pst. If you are looking for an artsy Hollywood vibe, this hotel certainly fits the bill!
Where to eat.
For dinner, I highly recommend Healthy Junk (@thehealthyjunk) in the Anaheim Packing House. It is all vegan and so delicious! It's about a 10 minute drive from the Howard Johnson. We got a full spread, including the strawberry sage margarita and passion project; so yum!
For brunch, Sur Restaurant and Lounge (@surrules) was to die for! This restaurant is owned by the famous Vanderpump family and was absolutely one of the best brunch's I have ever had. We split two entrees, the ham and eggs benedict and croissant french toast. We also of course had to have a pitcher of mimosas and espresso martinis.
For lunch, Burrata House (@burratahouse)! This deliciously fresh sandwich and bowl place was extremely refreshing and light. We tried the prosciutto sandwich and prosciutto bowl, both so amazing!
Where to drink.
Skybar (@skybarla)! Being in LA we had to attend a rooftop pool party and this is where it's at. We had such a fun time! Skybar is located at the Mondrian Hotel on Sunset and definitely gives you the LA experience.
Where to shop.
