As you all know I have lived in Florida permanently for a little over two years, but I was raised right outside Philadelphia in a town called Doylestown. I got the opportunity to go back to visit my home city and stay at the amazing Lokal Hotel (@stay_lokal).
The aesthetic of this boutique hotel is unreal! It is a studio apartment so you have your own kitchen and little living space which is so nice. It isn't your traditional hotel (in the best way) because it is set up like a little apartment building.
Everything is super easy to use, they give you an access code to the building and your room. There is no elevator so be ready to take the stairs, but there is only a few floors.
We stayed in the Old City location in the "Ben" suite and absolutely loved everything about it! Every little detail makes the place super homey. They do also have a couple other locations in Philly and Cape May.
The Lokal provides you with the must go to restaurants in the area, so you know I had to hit a few up lol!
For breakfast we ate at United by Blue (@unitedbyblue). Not only was their egg sandwich so good, but they also have a cute boutique!
And for dinner we ate at Panorama Wine Bar (@panoramawinebar). Wow, this place was so good! The service was absolutely impeccable and the food was to die for! We had three courses, two wine floats, and espresso martinis to top everything off. Highly recommend!!
As far as night life goes, we stayed around Morgan's Pier (@morganspier) which overlooked the bridge. It was so beautiful at night!
Overall, I cannot say enough amazing things about The Lokal. They made us feel so welcome and were so accommodating. They really put a lot of thought and work into this beautiful hotel.
